Job Title: Child and Family Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child and Family Social Worker to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case holding of children and young people receiving provision of support through S17 CIN - Direct payments, completing Child in Need Visits, reviewing care plans and completing Child and Family Assessments.
  • Case holding children who are Looked After subject to S20 and S31, Statutory visits, attending CLA reviews and updating Care Plans.
  • Carrying out 12 month reassessment of Child and Family Assessments.
  • Attendance at MDT meetings, EHCP meetings, multi agency working alongside health and education and other professionals involved.
  • The role will also cover safeguarding responsibilities, S47 enquiries and Child Protection planning, PLO and court work.
  • Duty work as part of CWD Team, working alongside Safeguarding hub to triage Contacts and referrals.

Requirements:

  • Timely case recording required as part of practice standards and performance management.
  • Regular supervision of allocated children alongside personal supervision sessions.
