About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Officer to join our team at HM Treasury. As a key member of our Corporate Centre Group, you will play a critical role in delivering a best practice approach to strategic workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of integrated dashboards to provide key insights for evidence-based decision making.
  • Track progress on Diversity and Inclusion targets and identify workforce priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvements and innovation opportunities that align with our workforce plan.
  • Develop and maintain communications and tools/guidance about workforce levers for different audiences.
  • Lead on day-to-day workforce planning admin processes, including requests for data and stakeholder management.
  • Support the reallocation of temporary and permanent resource, including stakeholder management and exceptions processing.
  • Lead on relocation support for staff moving to Darlington, including relocations package and end-to-end support.
  • Support the creation, coordination, and reviewing of workforce plans.
  • Provide written and oral workforce planning updates to governance boards.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will have the ability to work independently to handle a busy workload and effectively manage competing deadlines and priorities. You will also have the ability to work with others to identify areas for improvement and simplify processes to use fewer resources.
