About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at CV-Library. As a Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Store Leadership
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading the store team and ensuring that all team members are working together to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Customer Service
  • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and that their needs are met.
  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Operational Management
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, cash handling, and health and safety.
  • Monitor and report on store performance, including sales, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Team Development
  • Develop and implement training programs to help team members improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Requirements

  1. Leadership Experience
  • Proven experience of leading a team in a retail environment.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve business objectives.
Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs.
Operational Management Skills
  • Proven experience of managing the day-to-day operations of a retail store, including stock management, cash handling, and health and safety.
  • Ability to monitor and report on store performance, including sales, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Communication Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise feedback to team members.
