We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Physician to join our Acute Medicine Service at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in our Same Day Emergency Care Unit, acute medical take, and within our modern 66-bed Nye Bevan Acute Assessment Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive acute medical services alongside Consultant colleagues and the wider team.
  • Manage patients admitted under your care during the medical take.
  • Assess and review patients, facilitating earlier 'senior' decision-making and high-quality clinical care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
