Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Practitioner with a comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and prior leadership experience

  • A genuine passion for child development and a solid understanding of child safeguarding and welfare

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of the nursery, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and curriculum development
  • Foster the professional growth of nursery practitioners through mentorship, training, and performance assessments, enhancing overall team effectiveness
  • Implement and uphold nursery policies and procedures to ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children, in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
  • Serve as a positive role model for staff, children, and families by promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in daily interactions and program development
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of high-quality early years education and care, including curriculum development, activity planning, and tailored learning support
