About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maths Lecturer to join our GCSE & Functional Skills team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials and resources to support student learning
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans and policies
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall development of the team
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Maths or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience of teaching Maths in a further education setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
