Job Title: Prison Education Lecturer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prison Education Lecturer to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to adult learners in a male prison setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Maths and English courses to adult learners
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess and evaluate learner progress
  • Work collaboratively with the education department to achieve goals

Requirements:

  • Good basic general education including GCSE (or) equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • A Degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work
  • Teaching Qualification

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary scale: £26,760.00- £34,439.00 per annum (prorata for part-time working hours)
  • Annual leave: 281.5 hours per annum, inclusive of statutory bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time working hours)
