E-commerce Manager

We're seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our Activation team, you'll play a crucial role in driving growth for our clients' brands across various markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce media strategies for leading FMCG clients across multiple platforms, including Amazon, eGrocery, and retail media platforms.
- Collaborate with clients to plan and manage retail media budgets, KPIs, and campaign execution.
- Drive best-in-class practices and optimization strategies across digital touchpoints, ensuring clients stay ahead of the curve in performance goals.
- Work closely with client agency teams to develop holistic strategies against ATL media and with wider e-commerce teams to manage stock, pricing, and retail health.
- Create event strategies for key periods, building a clear KPI framework with clients to understand success.
- Uncover client commercial objectives and participate in long-range strategic planning to meet and exceed those goals.
- Provide recommendations to improve sales and margin through effective retail and marketing planning.
- Demonstrate thought leadership with clients by developing and presenting industry research findings, e-commerce search trends, growth areas, new models, and case studies.
- Analyze multiple data sources confidently and accurately, highlighting relevant KPIs, drawing insights, and writing commentary within context.
- Identify opportunities based on deep data analysis using media platforms.
- Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams, delivering e-commerce analysis, insight, and strategy coherently.
- Manage a team of e-commerce executives, owning responsibility for output and acting as an escalation point when required.
- Coach the team through annual reviews and strive to develop best-in-class e-commerce practices across markets.
- 3+ years of e-commerce experience, including paid search (PPC/SEM), SEO/organic search, retailer e-commerce activation/performance display at a digital agency or client-side, with at least 1+ years of team management.
- Ambitious, driven, and passionate about e-commerce, with an excellent comprehension of search as the backbone of online purchases.
- E-commerce activation experience through Criteo, Amazon Advertising Platform (AMS and DSP), CitrusAD, and/or other retail players.
- Strong presentation skills, stakeholder management skills, and ability to educate clients about e-commerce and optimization.
- Good negotiating skills paired with the ability to dive deep into performance reporting.
- Additional language skills highly preferred (Spanish, German, Italian).
- Knowledge and experience of performance analysis, forecasting, and creating high-level and in-depth reports.
- Experience working with and advising on the implementation of tagging and tracking.
