About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Manager to join our team at Pertemps Scotland. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective collection of debt from clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of credit controllers to achieve service levels and KPIs.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and customer experiences.
  • Debt Recovery: Manage a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely and effective collection of debt.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients' finance teams to drive efficient and timely cash collection.
  • Quality and Accuracy: Ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy for input into systems.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required by the management team.
Requirements
  • Credit Control Experience: Proven experience in credit control, preferably within the legal sector.
  • Team Management: Previous experience managing or supervising a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, with the ability to produce pivot tables, vlookups, and other formulated data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
