We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Manager to join our team at Pertemps Scotland. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective collection of debt from clients.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of credit controllers to achieve service levels and KPIs.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and customer experiences.
- Debt Recovery: Manage a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely and effective collection of debt.
- Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients' finance teams to drive efficient and timely cash collection.
- Quality and Accuracy: Ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy for input into systems.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required by the management team.
- Credit Control Experience: Proven experience in credit control, preferably within the legal sector.
- Team Management: Previous experience managing or supervising a team.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, with the ability to produce pivot tables, vlookups, and other formulated data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
