Facilities Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Trew, LLC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our physical facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance, and responding promptly to maintenance or repair issues to minimize impact on operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a proactive facility strategy to ensure efficient operations
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve productivity
- Develop and maintain policies and standard operating procedures for all facility maintenance work
- Ensure compliance with regulations and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and building systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems
Requirements and Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC systems knowledge
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and maintenance software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and other documents
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks and lift heavy objects
- Good organizational skills
- Multitasking ability
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years in facilities management is desired
- A technical diploma or certification is a plus
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in a relevant field preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC certification, Electrical certification) are advantageous
- Valid driver's license required
