An exciting opportunity has emerged within our children's residences for Residential Team Leaders. We seek compassionate and dedicated individuals who aspire to positively impact the lives of our remarkable children and young people by leading through example for other support staff.
Key Information
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £12.94 to £13.30 per hour, in addition to sleep-in payments between £2800 and £3600 (based on 8-10 sleep-ins monthly), with £30.00 per sleep-in.
224 hours of paid annual leave per year.
This role operates on a rota basis, with a monthly schedule provided.
This is a year-round position, including holidays, which can be more enjoyable when celebrated with the children.
The shifts include long hours and essential sleep-ins, with variations depending on the specific residence.
Job Responsibilities
- Addressing the needs of Children and Young People in accordance with Ofsted regulations.
- Organizing team schedules while assisting the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments.
- Supporting the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in executing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
- Performing additional reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
- Supervising in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
- Fostering a diverse culture within the home.
- Creating a safe, family-like environment for the children.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be at least 21 years old due to Ofsted regulations.
- A valid driving license is essential due to the locations of the residences.
- A minimum of six months' experience in children's residential care is required, along with a relevant Level 3 qualification.
