We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming supplier deliveries meet the required specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect both inbound and outbound product quality and key inputs throughout the production cycle.
- Conduct inspections, analysis, and reporting of non-conformance issues.
- Support investigative actions to resolve any quality discrepancies.
- Oversee bulk tanker operations, ensuring correct material handling, sampling, and testing are carried out.
- Complete inspections and documentation to meet permit requirements.
- Ensure the DSR (Delivery Site Requirements) process is followed by all tanker off loaders.
- Report issues to relevant departments and maintain up-to-date training materials and records.
- Receive, log, and inspect palletised deliveries, confirming product quality and specifications.
- Notify appropriate departments of any discrepancies and generate supplier return notes.
- Label pallets ready for collection and conduct random weight checks on palletised deliveries.
- Maintain documentation such as packaging specifications, delivery note folders, driver induction records, and tank/silo information plans.
- Perform a range of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) inspections, including audits of pick faces and finished goods.
- Record and document inspection and audit results thoroughly.
- Assist the QHSE Manager in the introduction of new products, quality systems, tools, and techniques.
- Promote and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of the 7 Principles of Quality Management.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how quality performance impacts business outcomes.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to assertively enforce quality standards when necessary.
