Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming supplier deliveries meet the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect both inbound and outbound product quality and key inputs throughout the production cycle.
  • Conduct inspections, analysis, and reporting of non-conformance issues.
  • Support investigative actions to resolve any quality discrepancies.
  • Oversee bulk tanker operations, ensuring correct material handling, sampling, and testing are carried out.
  • Complete inspections and documentation to meet permit requirements.
  • Ensure the DSR (Delivery Site Requirements) process is followed by all tanker off loaders.
  • Report issues to relevant departments and maintain up-to-date training materials and records.
  • Receive, log, and inspect palletised deliveries, confirming product quality and specifications.
  • Notify appropriate departments of any discrepancies and generate supplier return notes.
  • Label pallets ready for collection and conduct random weight checks on palletised deliveries.
  • Maintain documentation such as packaging specifications, delivery note folders, driver induction records, and tank/silo information plans.
  • Perform a range of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) inspections, including audits of pick faces and finished goods.
  • Record and document inspection and audit results thoroughly.
  • Assist the QHSE Manager in the introduction of new products, quality systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the 7 Principles of Quality Management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how quality performance impacts business outcomes.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to assertively enforce quality standards when necessary.
