Chief Development Officer

The Pennsylvania SPCA is a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to protecting animals, preventing cruelty, and improving their health and quality of life. We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising efforts and drive our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure significant financial resources from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  2. Lead and motivate the development team to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
  3. Collaborate with the CEO, board members, and cross-functional teams to achieve fundraising goals.
  4. Oversee all development functions, including annual fund, grants, major gifts, planned giving, donor prospecting, and research.
  5. Help structure and lead a significant capital campaign.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Advanced Degree required.
  2. Reliable transportation to visit multiple sites.
  3. Exempt position, full-time, hybrid/flexible schedule.
  4. Salary range: $110,000-$130,000.
