Our client, a leading Lloyds Broker, is seeking a skilled Claims Executive to join their expanding Commercial Claims team in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing the claims needs of customers and ensuring that all issues related to the claims process are handled proactively.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of Commercial Retail claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Accurately register new claims on company computer systems and update records throughout the claim lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and concise records of claims and correspondence, providing a clear history of events, actions, and quantum assessments.
- Obtain and submit completed client claim documentation to insurers or nominated service providers in a timely manner.
- Respond to telephone calls promptly and effectively address customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to clients to actively manage the claim process and minimize lapse time.
- Process claim settlement cheques upon receipt.
- Previous experience in Commercial Claims is essential.
- Experience or knowledge of handling retail claims.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
