Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mecca Bingo. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our venues, ensuring they remain safe and welcoming for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and assist customers in all areas, providing a high level of customer service.
- Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
- Collaborate with the hosting and wider casino team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Promptly maintain the building, facilities, and all Rank assets, identifying and reporting any issues or concerns.
- Report, fix, and escalate all equipment and building issues, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for the club, working closely with management to ensure effective maintenance strategies.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and checks, liaising with local authorities and Rank health and safety managers as required.
- Encourage a culture of preservation, protection, and safety in the club at all times, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of current statutory, safety, and health regulations.
- Experience in facilities or building management in any industry.
- Any relevant technical qualifications.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unprecedented situations.
