About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Bromsgrove on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs.

About the School

The school is a Specialist school based in Bromsgrove for children and young people aged from Reception to post 16 with moderate to complex needs. The school aims to provide high-quality education and a safe, positive, stimulating and challenging learning environment where all pupils' needs are identified.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant, you will need to have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students. You will also need to be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
