Job Title: Associate Lawyer Property Litigation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Lawyer Property Litigation Specialist to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Wealth Management Legal Division, you will provide expert advice to our clients on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.

About the Role

As an Associate Lawyer Property Litigation Specialist, you will be responsible for advising on the legal and regulatory framework for our Wealth Management transaction-focused businesses. You will work closely with our product specialists to advise on documentation and transactions related to securities and asset-based lending, as well as providing product-based advice on pre and post-insolvency enforceability.

Responsibilities
  1. Advising on the legal and regulatory framework for the WM transaction-focused businesses.
  2. Advising the WM product specialists on documentation and transactions relating to securities and asset-based lending.
  3. Providing product-based advice on pre and post-insolvency enforceability for securities and asset-based lending.
  4. Advising Private Wealth Advisors on all aspects of the client relationship, from pitches through to the structuring of accounts.
  5. Advising senior WM Management on a variety of lending and trading issues, including new products and initiatives.
  6. Advising and liaising with WM Compliance professionals on a wide range of lending and trading issues.
  7. Advising on implementation of regulation affecting the transaction businesses.
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified lawyer with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel. You should have good English language skills and knowledge of another major European language would be a plus.
