Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse group of companies. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment and implement innovative payroll systems and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly payroll process for all company entities, resolving any related inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure meticulous handling of month-end payroll journals and year-end processes, adhering to strict deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring seamless transitions and accurate payroll records.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risk within the payroll function.
  • Collaborate with various departments on payroll-related projects, data analysis, and business initiatives.
Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all payroll activities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex payroll data.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including tax withholdings and benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
