Risk and Compliance Director Opportunity

Finitas is seeking a seasoned Risk and Compliance Director to lead their team and oversee risk management and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating risk and compliance frameworks and experience working in the insurance industry, preferably in insurance broking on the retail side.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management and compliance strategies
  • Lead a team of 4 people and provide guidance on risk and compliance matters
  • Ensure all operations remain within the regulatory framework
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to drive business growth
  • Manage travel to various sites across the UK, with a focus on workload and diary management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in risk and compliance
  • Experience of creating risk & compliance frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
