Senior/Principal Pipeline Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for global projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and analysis of rigid subsea pipelines, ensuring all deliverables meet project specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform pipeline analysis using advanced software tools such as Abaqus, DNV tools, and Mathcad.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tendering, project delivery, and field development efforts.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations, while pushing boundaries with cost-effective, risk-reducing solutions.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), with Chartered Engineer status or on your way to achieving it.
  • Strong experience in subsea pipeline engineering, particularly in in-place design and analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry design codes (DNV-ST-F101, PD 8010-2) and experience with software like ABAQUS.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python/VBA) or general programming is a bonus.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
