Senior Pipeline Engineer

Job Summary
Apollo, a leading oil and gas company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our Piping Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in delivering our growing portfolio of piping-related work scopes and participating in the technical management of the wider piping team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pragmatic design solutions that consider manufacture, testing, construction, commissioning, operation, and decommissioning aspects.
- Ensure that engineering works are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, internal and industry-recognized standards, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with the piping team to deliver work scopes within agreed budgets and timeframes.
- Perform quality assurance checks and approvals on all piping-related documents and deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, industry standards, design practices, and engineering technology.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals for piping work scopes.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in engineering design and construction in the oil and gas industry or other regulated sectors.
- Experience in designing and laying out process plant and piping systems in offshore platforms, FPSO, Petrochem, and Pharmaceutical plants.
- Knowledge of modeling software such as Naviworks, AutoCAD, Plant 3D.
