Drive Sales Success and Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Robertson & Sumner Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving sales success and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Sales Team: Work closely with our sales team to achieve service and revenue targets, making significant contributions to our overall success.
  2. Manage Client Accounts: Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely renewal payments through various communication channels.
  3. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers through written and verbal contact.
  4. Build Strong Relationships: Build strong working relationships within client accounts, maximizing 'buy-in' potential through regular contact.
  5. Identify Cross- and Up-Sell Opportunities: Identify cross- and up-sell opportunities, pass qualified leads to relevant areas, and oversee their progress.
  6. Research and Establish Business Needs: Utilize internal and external databases to research and establish business needs for clients.
  7. Develop and Implement Account Strategies: Develop and implement individual account strategies to exceed client expectations.
  8. Manage Time Effectively: Manage time effectively to accomplish all tasks, including visits, calls, and research & development efforts.
  9. Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all account details in CRM systems.
  10. Produce Regular Reports: Produce regular reports for internal sales meetings, contributing to team success.
Requirements:
  • A' level education or equivalent, with GCSE level C or above in English and Mathematics.
  • Proven experience in selling/account management via telephone, including negotiation and objection handling.
  • Proficiency in using internal database systems and internet search engines for effective research.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with a drive to consistently exceed expectations.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly motivated to meet and exceed targets within given deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word/Excel, and PowerPoint.
