Senior Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and developing work activities that facilitate the continuous improvement and development of the APIM capability.

The APIM service is a fully managed open-source solution that enables API developers to design, publish, and manage the lifecycle of APIs, as well as consumers to easily find and use APIs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Low-level design and development of code
  • Design and code reviews
  • Delivering and maintaining DevOps best practice and tooling

The ideal candidate will have experience in Java, Python, AWS, and working knowledge of implementing or supporting REST APIs using an API Management solution (e.g. WSO2, Apigee) and OpenAPI (Swagger) Definitions.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience working in a live service using DevOps & Agile processes, producing designs, and holding a current SC Security Clearance.

This role will be mainly remote-based with occasional office visits in Exeter. The day rate for this position is £685 per day via an umbrella company.
