Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at System Recruitment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services for integrated electronic fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver preventative, reactive, and remedial works to a professional standard, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out asset logs of equipment on site, maintaining accurate records of system performance and maintenance history.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion of each job and meeting customer expectations.
  • Communicate with clients and office staff in a clear and concise manner, providing regular updates on job progress and completion.
Requirements:
  • Detailed knowledge of fire and security systems principles and British Standards, with a strong understanding of system design and installation.
  • Relevant qualifications (NSI/LPCB/C&G etc), with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • Understanding and ability to carry out preventative maintenance to current standards, ensuring the highest level of system performance and reliability.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Able to work openly and co-operatively with others, as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
  • Experience of managing multiple simultaneous activities, with a strong focus on time management and prioritization.
  • Prior experience with systems, CCTV/Access Control, and Entrotec training or fire alarm experience, with a strong understanding of system integration and compatibility.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience within the construction industry or fire and security systems, with a strong understanding of system design and installation.
