Location: Wickford, Essex

Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum DOE

Position Type: Permanent / Full time - 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

We are collaborating with a well-established distribution firm at their primary location in Wickford, Essex. Due to ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a skilled Sales Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming customer calls, addressing verbal orders and daily inquiries related to delivery and pricing.
  • Process and input sales orders into our order management systems, providing information on stock availability, dispatch, and invoicing.
  • Assist external sales representatives to enhance customer relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Generate customer quotations and maintain price lists.
  • Handle daily delivery documentation for carriers.
  • Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales administration is essential.
  • Strong, recent background in sales order processing, managing numerous large orders daily.
  • Familiarity with a diverse range of product stock lines.
  • Experience in wholesale or distribution is preferred.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in telephone communication and providing high-quality customer support.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to up-sell and negotiate while building rapport with clients.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to a dynamic and challenging environment.
