Position Title: Academic Module Leader
Contract Type: Flexible Hours (up to 25 hours) Permanent
Compensation: £33.57 per hour
We are seeking a committed Academic Module Leader to enhance our educational offerings. In this role, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of academic programs, fostering student engagement, and implementing forward-thinking teaching methodologies. Your duties will encompass academic oversight, curriculum design, assessment preparation, and student assistance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee academic coordination for assigned modules
- Engage in collaborative meetings with educational and support personnel
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of curriculum
- Assist in the delivery and evaluation of educational content
- Prepare assessments and examinations for modules
- Manage the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
- Work alongside Student Experience and Support teams
- Coordinate with progression and welfare teams to facilitate student objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience in teaching within UK higher education
- Preferred teaching qualification and experience with international learners
