Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Module Curriculum Specialist to join our team at Leeds International Study Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in the successful delivery of teaching programmes, contributing to student support and the implementation of innovative teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic leadership for designated modules, ensuring curriculum alignment with university standards and student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching and support staff to develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new modules, incorporating best practices in pedagogy and assessment.
  • Support the delivery and assessment of provision, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students.
  • Prepare comprehensive module examinations and assessments, adhering to university guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain and update the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to facilitate effective online learning and communication.
  • Work closely with Student Experience and Support teams to provide guidance and support to students throughout their academic journey.
  • Liaise with progression and welfare teams to ensure student success and well-being.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Proven teaching experience in UK higher education, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
  • A recognized teaching qualification and experience working with international students is highly desirable.
