Study Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an AES Subject Lead. This role is a key part of our academic leadership team, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of teaching programs in line with our education strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic coordination for designated modules, including curriculum development and delivery.
- Lead and participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff to ensure effective program management.
- Line manage a group of academic tutors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the design, delivery, and development of modules offered by the center, ensuring they meet the needs of our students.
- Prepare and deliver module examinations, assessments, and feedback to students.
- Support planning activities, including timetabling and field trips, to ensure a smooth and efficient academic experience.
- Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and AES online platform, ensuring they are user-friendly and effective.
- Work with the center's Student Experience and academic team to deliver induction, orientation, and registration programs.
- Liaise with the Progression, Welfare, and Support team to support students in achieving their progression aims.
- Represent the department at external events, enhancing and engaging with partner universities.
- Engage in scholarly activity to ensure the delivery of modules is current and of high quality.
- Implement quality assurance procedures at module level and contribute to the annual monitoring and review of the program to achieve high standards.
- Complete sponsor reports and academic reports for students, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
