Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Numerate Graduate to join our Trading Operations Team in Central London. As a Graduate Trading Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating our trading platforms, which run 24/7.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and operating trading platforms
  • Spotting inconsistencies, errors, and unusual behavior
  • Developing insights into customer, counterparty, and market behavior
  • Liaising with traders, counterparties, and trading venues
  • Helping troubleshoot issues in the trade cycle
  • Collaborating with developers and traders to improve platform functionality

Requirements

  • Education to BSc level, ideally in a mathematical or scientific subject (2.1 or above from a red brick university)
  • Good proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to come to grips with new applications quickly
  • Attention to detail and high degree of numeracy
  • Aptitude for dealing with different time zones and currencies
  • Comfortable making informed trading decisions
  • Good organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekend rotation work
