Job Role: Nursery Assistant

As a Nursery Assistant with Nurseplus, you'll play a vital role in providing day-to-day care and support to children in local nurseries. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, develop your skills, and make a real difference in the lives of the children you care for.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the safety, happiness, and stimulation of children in your care
  • Communicating effectively with children using play-based approaches
  • Supporting children's development and learning
  • Creating a nurturing and child-friendly environment
  • Maintaining toys and play equipment to a high standard
  • Keeping accurate records of children's progress and activities
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • NVQ level 2/3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification
