Job Role: Nursery AssistantAs a Nursery Assistant with Nurseplus, you'll play a vital role in providing day-to-day care and support to children in nurseries across the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience, and to make a real difference in the lives of the children you care for.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the safety, happiness, and stimulation of children in your care
- Communicate effectively with children using play-based approaches
- Support children's development and learning
- Maintain a child-friendly environment and ensure the cleanliness and organization of toys and play equipment
- Keep accurate records of children's progress and development
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- NVQ level 2/3 Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification
- Flexible working hours to suit your needs
- Competitive pay rates from £13.15 to £14 per hour, paid weekly
