Position Overview

They are currently seeking an Integration Support Specialist to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

As an Integration Support Specialist, you will deliver high standards of support, advice, and guidance to facilitate the resettlement and successful integration of refugees.

You will provide quality advice and support on various issues, including housing, finance, education, employment, health, and immigration, conducting initial assessments for individuals referred to the service and developing personalized support plans.

Managing a caseload of clients, you will assist individuals in creating social networks, making referrals to other services, and establishing connections with external organizations to promote the services and partnership initiatives.


Additional Duties Include:

  • Maintaining accurate records and case files
  • Assisting with registration with care providers and accessing employment opportunities
Candidate Profile

To be considered for the Integration Support Specialist role, you will need:

  • Experience working with asylum seekers or refugees
  • Experience providing advice and guidance, advocacy, and culturally sensitive support
  • Experience in creating support plans and conducting needs assessments
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with complex or multiple support needs
  • An understanding of safeguarding principles
  • The ability to maintain accurate records and manage a caseload effectively
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
