Our Engineering team at the Avonmouth Bristol bakery is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement maintenance procedures and engineering standards to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Undertake corrective maintenance and bench overhaul activities as required.
  • Review and validate CILTs (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate, Test) generated by the autonomous maintenance team.
  • Provide technical support and training to Operator Maintainers on all aspects of maintenance.
  • Initiate dynamic risk assessments and implement condition-based inspections of equipment in distress.
  • Participate in PPPM's and line overhauls as requested by the Shift Manager/Engineering Lead.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of maintenance within an automated FMCG/bakery environment.
  • Basic food hygiene qualification.
  • Gas Training.
  • 17th Edition Electrical regs.
  • Risk Assessment & Method Statement Training.
