The Role:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our Design team at Survitec, a global leader in survival technology. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating specification documents, supporting technical collaboration, and managing workload to meet target delivery dates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create specification documents using computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Support technical collaboration of product requirements using CAD creation, product construction, and technical information.
  • Manage workload to ensure consistent flow of product lifecycle manufacturing process.
  • Create and manage tech packs using local document management systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documents and user documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Review non-compliance quality issues and find solutions to ad hoc problems.

About You:

Essential Criteria:

  • 2-5 years of work experience in product or garment wear.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of Gerber or PLM (desirable).
  • College A levels or BTEC in relevant degrees or undergraduate degrees.
