Job PurposeThe Domestic Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our care homes.
The successful candidate will contribute to the quality of care and lifestyle of our residents, ensuring their privacy, dignity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities- Clean all rooms, including furniture, fittings, windows, fabric, carpets, and equipment.
- Ensure the correct disposal of waste bags and follow safe working procedures and safety regulations.
- Assist in carrying out risk assessments and ensure all proposals are carried out.
- Take responsibility for Health & Safety issues and report any dangers to self and others.
- Ensure the correct storage and use of cleaning materials, following COSHH guidelines.
- Read all relevant communications, sign, and carry out instructions.
- Adhere to all aspects relating to confidentiality and not discuss the Company, service users, or other information which is acquired via the job, with others not connected to or who have no right to the information.
- Take part in staff and service users meetings and in training activities as directed, on or off site.
- Report any situations/concerns immediately to management.
- Be flexible and work to the benefit of service users, and assist with any other duties if required.
35 hours per week over 5 days
Pay Rate: £11.77 per hour
