Role Responsibilities

  • Generate comprehensive reports and presentations that analyze the trends in global biofuels and their relationship with raw material markets.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of supply and demand, pricing structures, costs, policy implications, and sustainability issues.
  • Topics of focus will include Ethanol, Biodiesel, Renewable Diesel, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, Marine Biofuels, Glycerine, and Waste Oils.

Key Duties

  • Develop forecasting instruments and construct economic and financial models.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing the team's extensive databases.
  • Establish a network of external contacts for research purposes and represent the organization at international conferences.
  • Engage in travel for research and client meetings, fostering the growth of our client relationships.

Qualifications

  • A strong academic background in economics, science, or engineering from a reputable university.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Competence in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the biofuels, renewable energy, or related agricultural processing sectors.
  • An understanding of the commercial challenges and opportunities within the biofuels market.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with databases.
