About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Risk Consultant to join our security engineering team in London, Oxford, or Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading risk consulting projects, managing junior team members, and developing security strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead risk consulting projects and manage day-to-day activities of junior team members.
  • Support the risk consultancy lead in developing security strategies and operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of security risk management principles, CPTED, and SBD principles.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to establish project security requirements and communicate security strategies effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor junior security consultants and support the development of their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in the development of approaches to project delivery and contribute to the growth of the security engineering team.
Requirements
  • Appropriate degree in security or a built environment discipline.
  • Membership of an industry association such as the RSES or Security Institute.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to undergo National Security Vetting in due course.
