Family Solicitor Job Description

CRA Legal is seeking a skilled Family Solicitor to join their Private Family Law department in Leeds City Centre. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, separation, child custody, financial disputes, cohabitation agreements, and domestic abuse cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise and represent clients in all areas of family law, both privately funded and legally aided.
  • Draft legal documents, including settlement agreements, witness statements, and court applications.
  • Keep up-to-date with legal developments in family law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide clear, empathetic, and practical legal advice to clients, guiding them through often challenging personal situations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to provide holistic support, including working with financial advisors and other specialists.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including SRA standards and legal aid regulations where applicable.
