Job Title: Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Spectrum IT Recruitment. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure improvement projects to enhance our company's IT systems.
  • Provide regular feedback on project progress using IT Helpdesk and project management tools.
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Test and deploy system patches to ensure compliance with our company's patching policy.
  • Perform server upgrades and network changes to meet our company's security and compliance standards.
Requirements:
  • Competent IT user with experience in using standard Microsoft office tools.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server technologies and Linux systems.
  • Understanding and support of network equipment (I.E. routing and switching) at both hardware and configuration level.
  • Ability to pick up new technologies and be involved in the planning of software and hardware upgrades.
  • Enthusiasm to keep IT knowledge up to date through research and reading technical literature.
