Job Title: Interim Director of Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Director of Finance to join our client, a leading charity in the social sector. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance team and working closely with the CEO and Trustees to ensure the charity meets its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Management: Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the charity's overall objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Provide accurate and timely financial information to the CEO, Trustees, and senior leadership team.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the charity is fully compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, including charity governance and financial reporting requirements.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage the finance team, working closely with the CEO and Trustees to achieve the charity's strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the CEO, Trustees, and senior leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience of leading financial operations and strategy in a charity or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Qualifications: Relevant accounting qualifications, such as ACCA or CIMA.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the CEO and Trustees.
