Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client's team on a temporary basis. The role is based in a dynamic warehouse environment and requires a valid counterbalance forklift licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift to move goods within the warehouse
  • Load and unload deliveries and organise them in the storage area
  • Ensure the safe handling and storage of goods to prevent damage
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse
  • Conduct regular checks on the forklift to ensure it is safe to use
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organisation
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Good physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
