About the Role

Blatchford is a leading manufacturer of advanced prosthetic technology, bespoke seating solutions, and orthotic devices. We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team at our Head Office in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the full product development cycle from requirements capture to production handover.
  • Interface with project managers and other supporting functions to achieve company goals.
  • Define requirements and related test cases for products.
  • Contribute to design reviews and assessments of change requests.
  • Own assigned activities from definition to full completion within the planned schedule.
Requirements
  • MSc in Mechanical, Electronic, or Software Engineering.
  • BSc/BEng with a proven track record applying System Engineering principles.
  • Systems Engineering design experience, ideally within the medical device industry or other regulated industry.
  • Experience with MDD/MDR.
  • Breadth of understanding across other engineering domains.
  • Excellent knowledge of MBSE and other Systems Engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience applying ISO-13485 and ISO-14971.
  • Familiarity with requirements and verification management tools.
