Signet Recruitment and Retention is assisting a prestigious legal services firm in their search for a UK Diversity and Inclusion Manager. This well-established global team comprises 14 DEI specialists who report directly to the Global Managing Partner for Diversity and Inclusion. The UK Diversity and Inclusion Manager will be an integral part of the EMEA team, which consists of five members, with the Head of DEI EMEA located in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fostering robust relationships with essential stakeholders, including the UK leadership team and DEI Partner advocates.
  • Collaborating with various teams within the firm to implement the UK Diversity and Inclusion strategy.
  • Facilitating the rollout of global DEI training initiatives within the region.
  • Overseeing external partnerships and collaborations.
  • Engaging with employee networks; managing budgets, supporting program design and execution, and enhancing collaborative opportunities.
  • Generating internal and external reports to track progress against global DEI objectives.
  • Conducting training sessions on Diversity and Inclusion principles.
  • Presenting to students in vacation schemes, trainees, and at other events to promote inclusive participation.
  • Supervising the EMEA DEI Coordinator based in London and managing the UK DEI budget.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of DEI experience at a management level is required.
  • Experience in the legal sector is not mandatory, but familiarity with the challenges of a partnership environment is beneficial.
  • A D&I certification or equivalent credential is preferred.
