Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Versatile Maintenance Technician to become part of a prominent manufacturing organization located in the West Yorkshire region.

Compensation:
£48,004

Work Location:
West Yorkshire

Working Hours:
Continental shift pattern – 2 days, 2 nights

Key Responsibilities of a Versatile Maintenance Technician:
- Deliver both electrical and mechanical assistance to production processes and equipment consistently
- Initially work day and afternoon shifts to acclimate to the role
- Maintain a detailed log of activities, including failure reports and planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
- Commit to a continuous improvement strategy to enhance the company and employee performance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Engage in fault diagnosis on PLC systems, including Siemens and Mitsubishi
- Respond to equipment failures and strive to minimize machinery downtime
- Execute both scheduled and reactive maintenance on various machinery, including shredders, pullers, large ovens, guillotines, packaging equipment, and inverters
- Apply general troubleshooting skills for recurring breakdowns

Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance is essential
- Completion of an apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND/ONC/OND or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
- Proficiency in fault finding on PLC systems is necessary
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated
- Capability to meet tight deadlines
- Prior experience in a multi-skilled maintenance technician role is required
