As a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, you will provide expert legal advice on employment law matters, including drafting employment documents, advising on maternity/paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, grievances, mediation, dismissals, redundancy, restructuring, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims.

About the Team

Our team advises health organizations nationwide on workforce matters, including high-profile employment tribunal litigation and strategic advisory work. We support clients such as NHS England, NHS Trusts, GP practices, private hospital groups, and other healthcare service providers.

About the Client Base

You will work with a broad range of healthcare clients across the NHS, primary care, and private health sectors, providing legal advice on employment law matters.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a flexible and experienced Employment Law Specialist who is able to work outside normal office hours if needed. You will have a strong understanding of employment law and be able to provide expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice to healthcare clients on employment law matters
  • Draft employment documents, including contracts and policies
  • Advise on maternity/paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, grievances, mediation, dismissals, redundancy, restructuring, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims
  • Work with clients to develop strategic employment law solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide comprehensive advice to clients
