Senior Legal Counsel Opportunity

This is an exciting chance for a UK qualified Solicitor with experience in Finance or Finance Litigation to join a leading Financial Services business in Manchester. As part of the UK based Group Legal Function, you will support the Consumer business in ensuring compliance with day-to-day frontline activities and identifying Regulatory Risk. This role is ideal for Solicitors from 8 PQE with a background in Finance Litigation or FCA Regulatory roles. You will have the opportunity to work on broad and challenging projects, take ownership of exciting initiatives, and make a real contribution to the Group business. The company offers hybrid working (typically 2 office days per week) and market leading benefits across bonus, pension, healthcare, wellness, and more.

About the Role

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the Consumer business. You will work closely with the Group Legal Function to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify potential risks. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and initiatives, such as developing new policies and procedures, and providing training to colleagues.
