Kinetic PLC, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our processing plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough fault finding and diagnostics to resolve emergency breakdown situations.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance to maximize plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Undertake planned and emergency repairs safely and promptly, documenting work using our SAP system.
  • Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements for engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with contractors during planned maintenance activities.
  • Manage stock levels of machinery spares and consumables to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Recognized apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable: experience in electrical maintenance within a processing or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with H&S systems and SAP or other CMMS systems is a plus, with training provided.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
