We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Community CAMHS East team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health assessments and interventions to children, young people, and their families.
- Work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with social care, acute care, and community and voluntary sector teams to provide comprehensive support.
- Offer a range of specialist interventions, including family work and group work, under the Thrive framework.
- RMN, RGN, or RSCN qualification.
- Clinical or Counselling Psychologist qualification (post-graduate doctorate in clinical psychology or its equivalent).
- Systemic or Family Therapist qualification (Masters/Doctoral level qualification with post-graduate qualification in an appropriate mental health/social welfare profession).
- Social Worker or recognised earlier equivalent qualification to practice.
- Registration with HCPC/BACP.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Specialist training in an appropriate area and knowledge of CAPA and CYP-IAPT.
