Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues effectively.
  • Perform comprehensive inspections to detect potential problems.
  • Execute necessary repairs and part replacements.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations diligently.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician or in a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of HGV systems, engines, and components.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and HGV license preferred.

We have a fully equipped garage with a pit, pit jack, brake roller tester, and a complete heating system with an office and private facilities.
