We are seeking a dedicated and skilled neonatal nurse with the necessary qualifications to become a vital member of our committed team. In this role, you will provide critical care for newborns born as early as 27 weeks gestation, making a significant impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit advanced clinical competencies to deliver exceptional patient care
- Offer guidance and support to junior nursing staff
- Maintain effective communication with families, colleagues, and external partners
- Contribute to the overall administration of the clinical unit
- Engage in the training and professional development of staff and students
- Evaluate, plan, and coordinate patient care requirements
Qualifications:
Mandatory:
- Current registration as RSCN / RN Child / RM / RN
- Completion of a Neonatal Intensive Care Course or equivalent
- Completion of a Mentor Course or equivalent
Preferred:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline
- Completion of an Enhanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Course
Experience:
Mandatory:
- Extensive experience as a Band 5 staff nurse in neonatal care
- Proof of recent educational pursuits in a relevant area
Preferred:
- Training in Neonatal Advanced Life Support
- Experience in mentoring and teaching students
